Helping to Shape the Future of The Past

An Investment Prospectus for Hadrian’s Wall Country
With the public purse strings getting tighter, Hadrian’s Wall Heritage Ltd. gave us the rather challenging task of creating an investment prospectus, which would summarise the need for inward investment, and funding to support Hadrians Wall Country and the local economy.

Working with Hadrian’s Wall Heritage Ltd, GP Wolffe designed and produced a prospectus highlighting key statistics and a proposed development strategy for the region.

Golfing (not so) Greats

Having a Blast at Turnberry.
A couple of weeks ago we took a team to play in the Turnberry UNICEF golf challenge. The biggest challenge was the extremely inclement weather. We played Monty on the par 3 11th which was the most playable hole on the day. We enjoyed ourselves, really...

From left to right;
Mark (still smiling) Alexander, Jonothan (hairdo) Pendry, Monty, Andrew (blown away) Wolffe and Andy (steady) Burgess.

A Romantic Sunset Wedding at Turnberry

Turnberry Wedding Photo-shoot

We have just returned from (in idyllic conditions) a wedding photo-shoot at Turnberry. Photographer Gerardo Jaconelli and his support team of stylists, marketing managers and art directors (GP Wolffe) had a rather hectic but highly creative day.

The model bride and groom looked stunning in a fabulous sun drenched setting and the final photographs will form the basis of a campaign promoting Luxury Weddings at Turnberry Resort. The campaign will roll out across advertising, wedding fare’s’ and a stunning wedding brochure.

The campaign is already enjoying success with over 10 bookings and counting for next year!

The Bill McLaren Foundation Brand Goes Live

We've just gone live with the Bill McLaren Foundation brand. We worked with the illustrator Iain McIntosh to create a portrait of Bill and designed the typography to make the shape of a rugby ball; a simple, effective brand for an extremely worthy cause, in memory of a great man who defined everything that's great about the game of rugby.

The Smoothest Wysgi on Earth

Re-stating Penderyn’s brand positioning

Penderyn distillery’s marketing team wanted to re-state their unique brands’ positioning by coming up with a new statement, which summarised their philosophy and segmented the brand in the highly competitive whisky market.

Working closely with the director of sales and marketing, GP Wolffe came up with a new positioning statement and associated typographic style. This, along with a new style of illustration has created a new design platform. The new brand-style was applied to airport graphics, advertising and a range of marketing communications materials.

A Rugby Legend

We've been appointed to design the brand for The Bill McLaren Foundation

He's a legend and had some famously impartial and extremely colourful commentaries http://www.nowpublic.com/sports/bill-mclaren-list-quotes-catchphrases-voice-rugby-2559524.html

We're delighted to be involved in this important charity and aim to go live by the end of June.

The 2010 Legal Awards were held on Friday at the EICC. Congratulations to all the winners and well done those who were shortlisted. As design partners of the Legal Awards we created all the communication materials from Nomination Packs to ads. The branding and associated literature by GP Wolffe looked great on the day; Peter and Andrew looked pretty smart too!!

Dolphins at Turnberry

Wouldn't believe what we saw
On a photo shoot and planning day at Turnberry yesterday we spotted a lot of dolphins jumping off the coast. This was taken by Paul Bock on a VERY long lens. The creatures look very small with Ailsa Craig in the background.
Sun splitting the skies, dolphins jumping; must be a good omen.

Investing in Tomorrow!

Young Company Finance
Edinburgh House Publishing Ltd. recently commissioned the team at GP Wolffe to re-design the identity for their publication - Young Company Finance. The contemporary bold typographic style married with a simple graphic element (representing growth) clearly positions Young Company Finance as a serious resource in the ‘early stage growth’ marketplace.

The new identity and subsidiary branding have been applied across all of the publications, stationery, event collateral, website, and e-marketing campaigns.
